New pictures of the coming Tresor venue in Berlin have been made available to the public. The official opening takes place next Spring, but those eager for a preview can enjoy themselves with a series of photos of the club's new location.

The pictures present the all-new location of the Tresor club in the old Vattenfall power station in Berlin, Germany. Whereas the old location became notorious for its underground look and atmosphere, the new, immense rooms surpasses this image by combining industrial decoration with colourful effects and an intuitive use of space. According to Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann, the official rebirth of the club takes place next March.

Techno freaks around the globe lost one of the most respected and beloved clubs after Tresor closed down in 2005. By using an old bank building for over 14 years, hence the name Tresor, the club soon enough developed itself into an underground shelter for serious and innovating techno. Although the club concept came to a harsh end after the building was declared unsafe, it now seems that Tresor is bound to make a long-awaited return into club country.

Since 1995 Tresor Headquarters has sponsored and supported up and coming talent in the local and national scene, under the umbrella of the New Faces nights every Wednesday in the Tresor basement floor. Always hosted by a Tresor Headquarters DJ, some of Germany’s now-successful DJ’s have had their premiere club experience in the German capital behind the decks on a New Faces night.

We’ve always got an ear and an eye out for young and new DJ’s with a certain flair and skill that can make a crowd turn crazy. Techno is a must and a good feeling for mixing is paramount. For this you can send your DJ mix in audio CD format to us per post only, ideally with track markers and ca. 60 minutes (minimum); not MP3 and not as MP3 attachment to a Tresor email address please! - and the Headquarters team will review it. If they find it interesting, they will contact you about the possibility of playing a set on a New Faces night. The address:
